I loved your book, Every Last Cuckoo. Since I am in my mid 60s, Sarah's life review is similar to my own and it was a sheer pleasure to let this narrative seep into my soul. I was sad when the book came to an end. I hope to find more of your books. Can you recommend any I should read of yours?

I was very disappointed that you cancelled your Portland City of Books POWELL's location book sigining last Friday.
The staff was rude when I asked for book passes because my friends purchased your book EVERY LAST CUCKOO and between us we had no idea that you had cancelled. I wish Powell's Portland staff was friendlier.
We purchaed your book at other locations. And went to that certain store to see you. The staff acts like it's too much trouble to give a book pass so you can bring a book with you. Isn't the general idea to buy the book and enjoy it?
I am reading the book for Helen's AM NW book club selection this month.
I would hope that you reschedule your appearance, but please appear that the Beaverton Mall Cedar Hills Crossing location. The staff there is very friendly and you don't have to get book passes if you have your copy. It is so much better to be at. The signing is in the middle of the store and it isn't as stuffy and warm as the Portland location.
